Great Wolf Getaway....

We went overnight to Great Wolf Lodge!  To be honest, I was hesitant about paying the money to stay there because I assumed we would spend the whole time in the toddler spray area.  I was sooooo WRONG!  We had an incredible time.

Our kids are maniacs and were willing to try everything that they were tall enough to ride.  The boys went down some pretty big slides.  See these yellow and red slides(below)...I'm pretty sure they went down those about a million times.  The first time Peter went,  he started at the top on his bottom and ended up head first, arms flailing, water flying...he stood up at them end and said, "AWESOME, let's go again."  The wave pool was fun, and again I was shocked at how the boys were so brave and when a wave would go over their heads, they'd just stand up and look for the next one.  Natalie loved the wave pool and the toddler pool...well, we all did.  It was a blast, and she didn't mind getting splashed in the face or braving the kiddie-slides.

There are no pictures from our trip.  I stole these shots from google.com.  I did remember the camera, but it never came out of the bag.  Keeping track of all 3 kids in a loud water park proved to be very consuming.  Aaron and I are exhausted!

So, this is NOT a commercial for Great Wolf, but I will give my review.   We had been told to expect horrible customer service, super expensive food, etc.  We arrived at 1pm to go to the water park, knowing that we couldn't get a room until 4pm.  We were given a room immediately at 1pm, and the gal at the desk figured out that she could save us $49 on our room...SCORE!  We also took advantage of a $10 lunch deal that was for a large pizza, family size salad, breadsticks, and drinks.  When we went to pick up our pizza, we had to wait 5 minutes, so they threw in some chocolate chip cookies.  Every where we went the staff was friendly and very helpful.  So, there it is...my plug for Great Wolf!

We will definitely go back.  Maybe we'll even take a picture next time!

Our Surprise!

In May we were surprised to find out that we'd be getting one more addition to the Stewart family.  Our kids thought we were getting a dog!  Surprise...better than a dog...another kid!  Peter is still debating this...he really wants a dog!

Baby #4 is due to arrive at the beginning of January.  Now that I am done feeling rotten all of the time, and the tummy is making its appearance, we are getting excited!

Here's a picture of the newest Stewart...it's from our first ultrasound, when I was 10 weeks along.  So, I'm sure the baby has all the essentials now...you know...arms, legs, hands, feet, etc.  Not that paddles aren't cute, but I'm just sayin'...some actual limbs are good too!   The ultrasound tech was very sweet and insisted on putting all of our names on there.

We are excited to see more of this baby at our ultrasound in late August!  So, what do you think...boy or girl?

Sweet Pete's 4th Birthday....

Today, Peter turns 4 years old!  We are so proud of our funny, sweet, smart boy.  He is full of life and energy and "boy-ness."  At four, he still says a few funny things...like pimatoes (tomatoes) and someping (something.)  We will miss those sweet quirks someday. We are so blessed.

It seems like yesterday that he was this size.

Here's his birthday video....

Peter enjoyed a fun day of family and friends.  Here are few pictures from his party with friends!

Pete loved the "fastest" slide.  I think he went on it a million times!

Does it look like Luke is flying off of the slide?  That's because he is....he thought it was extra fun to leap in the air at the top of the slide.  Apparently he misses the orthopedic surgeon that fixed his arm earlier this year, and is trying to find a way back to Dr. Will!

Even Aaron was in on the fun...

Natalie pretty much hates Pump It Up...this was the one and ONLY time she went down the slide.   She was much happier with her feet on the ground.

The whole crew.  We love all of these kids!  What a fun day.
