My baby slept six hours last night. Did you hear me?!?!...SIX hours...in a row! I am a new woman! I realize that since I have bragged about it, he'll never sleep again, but I'm just sayin' ....SIX hours!
And, since I'm finding complete joy in the small things...check out my new bag...which I am using as a diaper bag, but is definitely cute enough to carry as a purse! Gotta love Etsy!

Hello sunshine...
The thermometer hit 50 degrees, so we hit the park.

Peter was on the move the entire time...every picture I took of him is blurry.
It was Benjamin's first time outside for any length of time. He loved it so much that he opened his eyes!

I'm linking this pic up with Rachel's blog. This is SOOC, but I love it because for ONCE in my life I used TV (shutter priority) and got it right! You can actually read the warning on the swing...how's that for stopping action! Photo is 1/500 F/4.5 ISO 1000 |

Our new pet...
Have you met our new pet? Well, this is as close as we're going to get to a pet for a very long time.
Let me introduce you to Rody! Isn't he adorable? This bouncing horse was given to Natalie as a gift (thanks Tanja and Peggy!!!) to help her through theremoval from her throne "transition." She immediately fell in love. She's a big fan of bouncing on Rody, but also treats him like a pet. He sits at the table with her, and she drags him around on a leash. We all love Rody the bouncing horse!
This is absolutely my kind of pet!

Are you wondering where Luke and Peter are? They haven't made a blog appearance in a long time. I just looked through my recents pictures to find something to prove they are alive and well! The truth is that in the last few weeks they have watched too much TV, and spent an extraordinary amount of time perfecting their Wii MarioKart abilities. I keep telling myself that their brains will recover....someday!
They look like perfectly normal kids, right?

2 weeks old...
Our sweet little guy is 2 weeks old. We've settled in at home, Aaron returned to work today, and we are adjusting to our new family of six! It's safe to say that we are all completely in love with Benjamin and can't imagine our lives without him.
At his 2 week check-up, he's weighing in at 7lbs 10oz...good boy! We spend most of the time nursing...or at least that's how it feels at this point. And, he's a pretty good sleeper at night (except for last night...but we won't talk about that.) He tolerates the noise and craziness of our house like a champ. And he's cuddled almost all of the time...there's no shortage of people who want to hold him around here...me included!
Here are some newborn shots from when he was 10 days old.

We're fine. No really, we're just fine...
With a new baby in the house, many people are asking how the kids are adjusting. As you can see, there are absolutely no jealousy issues...nope...none.
