Here's what we've been up to...
During the big heat wave, we escaped to the beach for a night. Instead of enduring the 100+ degree heat at home, we enjoyed the sunshine and cool breeze.

What can I say about our kite? Probably should say, "I'm sorry" to the various people that it dive bombed throughout the day. But, once the boys fixed it, we had a great time.

Here is Peter flying the kite. He had a bad habit of getting side-tracked and letting go, which sent me scrambling across the sand chasing after the kite. The people around us thought it was hilarious.

This was the year. After 12 years of owning our jetski with almost no trouble, this has been the year of sucked up rocks, dead batteries, etc. Luckily, Aaron has become really good at repairing it himself.

Ross, Shannon and Emmett spent the week at the cabin as well. Here's Natalie and Emmett getting a bath! They are two months apart and have a good time together.

During our week at the lake, we had a wonderful surprise! I (Jenny) sped to Portland in the middle of the night to be there when Amy and Alex welcomed sweet baby Jackson into the world! He is a precious gift and we were so happy to see him born at 6 lbs 1oz. Needless to say, we are completely in love with our new nephew.

After vacation, Aaron headed out for two weeks in Iowa for a seminary intensive class. We missed him desperately, but made it through with lots of help and fun with friends and family! Time was scarce, so I only managed to take these two photos during the entire time.
Nap hair...after having two boys, I'm just not sure what to do with Natalie's hair!!! This day she woke up from nap with a great do!

Here's Natalie...a happy girl who is on the move. Walking, running, climbing, and getting into all sorts of mischief when we aren't looking...but always with a smile on her face!

These are all so great! Natalie has a nice little tan going there too!
That pic of Natalie striding toward the ocean made us giggle. She looks completely confident on her feet! Carson is just now choosing walking over crawling, so his pace is much slower - - so different from our girls.
Fun to see pics of all your family fun! Take care!
