Happy 4th Birthday Benjamin!

Happy 4th Birthday to our sweet, happy, crazy Benjamin!  This boys captures our hearts at every turn.  He is cuddly and kind, and brave and wild!  He loves to play, and is especially liking Planes Fire and Rescue toys, Paw Patrol, and Lego.  He is crazy about iPad games, and we have to lock that thing away, or he will have it in hand. 

If I had to use one word to describe Benjamin it would be JOY!  He is happy and joyful most of the time, and he brings so much joy and sunshine to our family!  We love you Benjamin!

Happy 8th Birthday Peter!

Happy 8th Birthday to our sweet Pete!  Peter is growing in every way!  Every time I turn around this boy is a little taller, and looking a bit older.

He continues to love ALL things sports.  He is an avid Seattle Sounders fan, a Seahawks expert, and thanks to his cousins, he is an Oregon Duck fan! Peter is a really hard worker, and that makes it fun to watch him on the soccer field, basketball court, and baseball field.

Since the time he could walk this boy has wanted to be outside.  He can often be found setting up ramps to jump his bike or scooter, playing in the woods with friends, or racing around the neighborhood in some sort of an epic nerf battle!

Peter is tough on the outside, with soft melty middle!  He runs, jumps, rides, and flies his way through most days, but also slides in beside me for a hug on a regular basis.  Happy Birthday Peter!

Merry Christmas 2014

Boys will be boys....That's a terrifying statement.

This happened.....

Me: Hey Natalie, where are your big brothers?
Natalie: It's ok mom, they are in the backyard throwing knives.   
Me: What kind of knives? Wait WHAT??????

I may not be equipped to raise boys.

For the record, they were using a pocket knife, and they swear they were being "super careful."
So, I've got that going for me.

Happy 6th Birthday Natalie

Happy 6th Birthday to our Natalie!  I often tell people that she is 100% girly-girl, but tougher than nails! She continues to be all things pink, purple and sparkly, but is leaving the Disney Princesses behind in exchange for American Girl.  Natalie was in all-day Kindergarten this year and loved it.  She also played soccer and tee-ball.  Our little miss independent loves to jump on her bike and zoom off to play with friends around the neighborhood.  We are so grateful to live in a place where she can do that!

DOUBLE DIGITS! Happy 10th Birthday, Luke!

Happy 10th Birthday to Luke!  10 years ago this boy made me a mom, and I am so grateful for that!  It is a joy to watch Luke grow and change with every year.  Being his mom is never boring!  He lives life to the fullest everyday!  That usually brings him fun and adventure.  The night before his birthday that brought him a broken ankle!  Par for the course with this boy.  Luke continues to be an enthusiastic student.  He loves soccer, baseball, and riding his bike! We are proud of the incredible young man he is!
